Friends, Family and FUN:
We pride ourselves on being a close knit team, not only as players, but as parents and families as well. The emphasis is not only on winning, but also on allowing all players the opportunity to grow and excel while having fun playing with friends, all with the full support and encouragement of our families.

Practice

Practice for 6-14-2010 has been cancelled. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday 6-16-2010 at 6:30-8:00. It will be at the Fire station, 91st street west of Sheridan. Thank you!!

Announcements and News

The Bixby Highlanders 98 Boys Blue team recently celebrated winning first place in the silver bracket at the 2009 Blitz United Under Armour Fall Invitational tournament in October. The boys fought hard through many nail-biting moments during the two day tournament to come home with the first place trophy.

Tryouts will be held  June 26 and we are encouraging anyone interested in the opportunity to join our team to attend. Please check the tryouts page for dates and times.

Open training camps will be held on the following dates and all are welcome to attend. The camps will be held behind the fire station located on 91st street 2 blocks West of Sheridan Road.

Herbie Reid originally comes from Clarendon, Jamaica. His background in coaching started at G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sports. He then became a coach for the Mitchell Town United Football Club developing young players within the region.

In 2001, Herbie was recruited to the United States as a player at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma by Charlie Mitchell. As a player to Northeastern State University and graduated in 2001. During his time at NSU, he coached youth teams in Broken Arrow and Tulsa.

In the United States, Herbie have played indoor for the Tulsa Roughnecks in 2004 and PDL with the Oklahoma Falcons in 2007.

Upon graduation from NSU, he began coaching for the Hurricane Futball Club in 2006 with the '98 Boys and 93 Boys. In 2008 he accepted a coaching position with Charlie Mitchell and the Highlanders Football Club taking over the BFC '98 boys and taking them to Green Country Champions while coaching the BFC '93 boys.
